     To be approved for citizenship, you must participate in a citizenship naturalization) interview with a USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services) officer.

     What are some things that happen at the naturalization (citizenship) interview?

Among the things you should take to the interview are:

1. N-400 Application (Review it carefully so that you are able to answer questions about it.)

2. Letter with interview appointment notice. 

 Harder than you might think

     The Notary Public appointment is not a national appointment.  Notary Publics are appointed by the individual states. The method of appointment varies from state to state. To learn about the appointment process in your state, contact the Secretary of State of your state, or equivalent officer.

     Although the appointment process varies from state to state, a number of states require candidates to pass a written test, among other requirements, before they can be appointed. These exams vary in difficulty and definitely require careful preparation.

     Some states supply a booklet containing the information that is the subject of the written test. For example, the NYS Department of State, Division of Licensing Services, has published an excellent booklet, “Notary Public License Law.” It contains all the sections of law you need to pass the Notary Public Exam and to be a well informed and professional notary public. How to prepare for a civil service exam

     If I escorted you and a group of other people to the front of a beautiful house and announced that the house would be awarded to the first person who opens the front door, there probably would be a mad rush for that door.

     Of course, if the door were unlocked, the fastest runner would probably win the house.  However, if the door were locked, then the person with the KEY - even if he or she was not the fastest person - would win the house. 

     What I am trying to stress is the following: You don’t have to be the most intelligent or educated person to be the highest scorer.

     So, How should you prepare properly for the exam?
