NYS COURT OFFICER TEST POSTPONED (Update 11/16/2020)
The New York State Court Officer Examination originally scheduled for 2020 has been postponed due to the COVID 19 virus.
According to the New York State Office of Court Administration, "The new test administration period will be announced once it is deemed safe to conduct the examination."
The following is a statement from the NYCOURTS.GOV site:
"The filing period began Wednesday, January 22, 2020 and ended Wednesday, February 26, 2020. No late applications can or will be accepted."
Also, "EXAMINATION POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) PRECAUTIONS: The health of applicants and their families is our first priority. When it is deemed safe to administer the examination, the examination will be re-scheduled and self-scheduling links e-mailed to applicants. Due to the nature of the crisis, we cannot predict the length of time the postponement will remain in effect. We will post the revised dates as soon as they are determined. We will continue to monitor, assess and address the situation keeping applicant safety as our foremost concern."
